Authentic leadership in times of crisis

Abstract

Unexpected changes in the world (for example: corporate scandals, terrorism, diseases, epidemics)cause that enterprises run their business in the condition of constant uncertainty. In sucha situation, people are needed who will become an example and at the same time will build positiverelations with others, and that are be able to lead an organization and ensure its continuedexistence in a changing environment.In the article the author presents a leadership concept, which seems to be suitable for a world ofchanges. This leadership concept is an authentic one, because it emphasizes interpersonal relationsin an organization as well as the role of a leader while forming the attitudes and behaviorsof the followers.
