AUTOMATIC TARGET RECOGNITION OF COMPLEX INTERNAL STRUCTURE
Journal Title: Archives of Transport - Year 2014, Vol 32, Issue 4
Abstract
The paper presents methods of automatic target recognition from images with complex internal structure. Recognition methods proposed are based on the Fourier transform properties. These methods make it possible to bring the problem to Fourier transform, feature extraction and input image classification. Image data synthesis within diffraction plane significantly increases the probability of target detection.

Satellite Navigation Systems in the Transport, Today and in the Future
Operational status and practical exploitation (October 2010) of Satellite Navigation Systems (SNS), as GPS and GLONASS, and Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS), as EGNOS are presented in this paper. Other SNS are...
Modelling the public transport capacity constraints’ impact on passenger path choices in transit assignment models
The objective of this paper is to discuss the replication of passenger congestion (overcrowding) effects on output path choices in public transport assignment models. Based on a comprehensive literature review, the impac...
Embedded Direct Search of Optimal Designs for Finite Noise Experiments
We study experimental designs for the identification of nonlinear model parameters. As optimality criterion we assume minimality of the error in a huge number of identifications run on simulated data, which are generated...
Exhaust Emissions Measured Under Real Traffic Conditions from Vehicles Fitted with Spark Ignition and Compression Ignition Engines
The tests performed under real traffic conditions provide invaluable information on the relations between the engine parameters, vehicle parameters and traffic conditions (traffic congestion) on one side and the exhaust...
Design of brake force distribution model for front-and-rear-motor-drive electric vehicle based on radial basis function
To achieve high-efficiency and stable brake of a front-and-rear-motor-drive electric vehicle (FRMDEV) with parallel cooperative braking system, a multi-objective optimal model for brake force distribution is created base...
