AUTONOMIE SAU INDEPENDENȚĂ? PARTICULARISME ȘI SEPARATISME ÎN UNIUNEA EUROPEANĂ

Abstract
Autonomy or Independence ? Particularism and Separatism in the European Union. The fi ght for freedom and autonomous development is as old as the political history of the states. More recently it was an essential part of the formation of nation states in Europe and in the rest of the world. The actual events connected to separatism in Europe are continuing older tendencies and confl icts which often were forgotten in the larger context of European integration and in the present crisis of the EU they might threaten the very existence of the Union itself. The fi rst part of this study is based on the cases from France, Spain and Italy.
