Auxeticity Properties of Hexagonal Syngony Crystals
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2015, Vol 16, Issue 1
Abstract
Pointing auxeticity surfaces of Be, Zn, MoS2, MnAs, TiB2 and BeCu (2,4 atm. % Cu) single crystals of hexagonal system were plotted for the first time using the experimental values of the elastic modulus , which given in the tables Landolt-Bernstein. The criteria of appearance of axial and noaksial auxeticity were established. The influence of alloying and temperature on effects of Be abnormal deformation was detected. The mechanisms of auxeticity properties formation in hexagonal crystals were established.

The Morphology and Conductive Properties of Composite Material SiO2 – C
The article explores the structure, morphology and conductive properties of composite material SiO2 – C using XRD, SAXS, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and impedance spectroscopy methods. It is set that SiO2 – C co...
Dynamics of Three-layer Cylindrical Shells Elliptical Cross-Section With a Longitudinal-Transverse Discrete Ribbed Filler
In this paper, we consider the equations of non-axisymmetric oscillations of discretely reinforced multilayer cylindrical shells of elliptical section. When analyzing the elements of the elastic structure, a refinement m...
Effect of Cadmium Doping on the Optical Properties of As2(S, Se)3 Chalcogenide Thin Films
As2S3 and As2Se3 chalcogenide glasses doped with cadmium were synthesized in quartz ampoules. Thin chalcogenide films based on the synthesized compounds were deposited by thermal vacuum evaporation. Optical transmission...
Structure Formation and Corrosion Behaviour of Quasicrystalline Al–Ni–Fe Alloys
The formation of quasicrystalline decagonal phase and related crystalline phases was investigated by a combination of optical metallography, powder X-ray diffraction, atomic absorption spectroscopy and differential therm...
Calculation of Phase Equilibrium in NbC-Manganese Steel System for Carbide Steels Development
Niobium carbide due to its high microhardness is an perspective refractory compound for using as ceramic phase in tungsten free cermets – carbide steels. In this study phase equilibrium in NbC (60 % vol.) – manganese ste...
