Abstract
Avrupa Birliği Eğitim ve Gençlik Programları, programlara üye ülkeler arasındaki bireysel ve kurumsal işbirliğinin geliştirilmesini, programlardan yararlanan kişilerin mesleki ve bireysel gelişimlerinin sağlanmasını hedeflemektedir. Bu programlar, Lizbon Stratejisi ve AB 2020 Stratejisinin eğitim ve gençlik alanındaki amaçlarına ulaşılması için kullanılan araçlardır. Hayatboyu Öğrenme Programı ve Gençlik Programı adları altında ülkemizde 2004 yılından bu yana uygulanmakta olan programların, özellikle yükseköğretim kurumları ile bu kurumlarda görev yapanlar ve öğrenciler üzerinde olumlu etkilerinin olduğu görülmüştür.
