Back Stretching Behaviors in V Bending
Journal Title: Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi Part C: Tasarım ve Teknoloji - Year 2014, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
The springback is difference between the die geometry and bended sheet geometry. This phenomena is a general shaping problem in sheet metal forming. In V bending, the numerous factors such as material (material type, thickness, anisotropy, yield strength, Young’s modulus, strain hardening etc.), process (holding time, bending temperature, friction, bending force etc.) and die geometry (bending angle, bending radius etc.) must be considered. Therefore, numerous empirical and finite element analysis studies have been carried out by many researchers. In this study, the related studies with V bending operation has been compiled and revived.
