BACKGROUND AND FACTORS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN UKRAINE

Abstract
in a certain sense makes state borders conditional, that is, inhabitants of different states and representatives of different cultures can freely interact, communicate, share a cultural experience. Taking into account that tourism is associated with many branches of the economy, it can be stated that there is a significant influence on social development, its stability and, in general, on the socio-economic state of the country. It should be noted that from the elite type of activity, leisure, as tourism was in the XIX century, it has become mass, and the services of tourism organizations are used by representatives of any age, class, gender, ethnicity, level of education, and kind of professional activity. The development of technologies, in connection with which there is more free time, and the formalization of the sphere of labour activity within the regulatory framework of observance of the right to work and recreation contributed to the mass character of tourism and its transformation into a vital need for a society of the modern epoch. In the 50s of the XX century, tourism has become a mass phenomenon, which was the reason for the emergence of international tourist organizations. Tourism is one of the sectors in the rapidly evolving economy of Ukraine. In the face of ever-increasing competition, the development of tourism in Ukraine can provide competitive advantages, increase the competitiveness of tourism services in the domestic and world markets, integrate Ukraine into world economic processes, increase profitability, increase consumption of services. Tourism is associated with many branches of the economy; one can state that it has a significant influence on the social development and on the socio-economic state of the country. The purpose of the article is to study the preconditions and factors of development of tourism in Ukraine, a comprehensive analysis of the preconditions for the development of tourism in Ukraine in the XX-XXI centuries, as well as research of historical experience for the development of tourism in the country. The article considers the preconditions and factors of tourism development in Ukraine. It is proved that the presence of a sufficient number of tourist facilities, their relatively uniform location in all regions, the existence of an extensive transport network near all tourist facilities give grounds to consider Ukraine as a destination and in studies conducted on the territory of the country, you can use this status. The preconditions, stages, and characteristics of the evolution of tourism development in the territory of modern Ukraine in the XX–XXI century are considered.
