Abstract
The feeling of common values between Nordic and Baltic states emerged in the 90s of the 20th century. It occurred during the social, political and economic transition. Simultaneously with regional cooperation, Nordic and Baltic states tighten contacts in the field of defence, security and foreign policy, making this region ready for taking more responsibility in the field of trans‑Atlantic and global security.
