BANK OF DEVELOPMENT AS AN INSTITUTE OF ACCELERATION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
In the article analyze theoretical and practical aspects of the influence of development banks on economic growth and outlines the main mechanisms of such influence. In the article revealed the functions and basic principles of activity of the development banks. The author also proposes a series of proposals for the creation of a development bank in Ukraine, based on the need to ensure high rates of economic growth and increase the competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy, which cannot be achieved without the high dynamics of investment and innovation processes, development of priority directions, ensuring sustained long-term development of the economy. In article also analyzed the role of the government in the process of creation and functioning of the development bank.
