Barriers in realization of personal training cofinanced by HC NCS in small and medium-sized enterprises
Journal Title: Zarządzanie i Finanse - Year 2013, Vol 11, Issue 1
Abstract
Ever faster changing economic conditions put on enterprises a number of challenges. In the particularly difficult situation are companies of the SME sector that have limited financial resources and a sparse crew. The level of competence and quality of work of these few people is important to the company to cope with market conditions, get and keep customers and achieve a competitive advantage over bigger and more stable competitors. A small percentage of SMEs trains their employees, despite the possibility of a refund. Polish entrepreneurs show little interest in raising the qualifications of the staff. The most common reason for not refunding the training is that companies do not conduct on-site training funds. The barrier is also necessity to exclude the employee from performing the duties during the training. In case of long-term training, if the employer wants to receive a grant for training, he must hire the unemployed one, who had been delegated by the labor office. There are many barriers in the way of obtaining funding from the office due to the com-plexity of the procedures and time to wait for covering the costs. Some of the enterprisers say that for them it is a difficulty that they need to disclosure con-fidential information about the company to get EU funds. There are also doubts about the effectiveness of traditional training, involving only the transfer of knowledge. In order to meet the last of these problems, HRP Group launch to market innovative teaching methods, based on e-learning and techniques that cause more permanent changes in the behavior of workers. Modification of training methods can lead to increase interest in business training.
