BASIC ASPECTS OF AIRLINE STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT UNDER JOINT ARRANGEMENT OF CARGO-PASSENGER FLIGHTS

Abstract
The research is aimed at identifying basic aspects of airline strategic management under joint arrangement of cargo-passenger flights under enhancement of competitive rival, resource scarcity and dynamic changes in economics. Key aspects of implementing resultant airline strategic management specialized on passenger transportation with support of strategic leadership were outlined. It was stated that leadership potential of the air carrier should be flexibly adjusted to the specific market conditions. Grouping business models of cargo carriers relying on the existing typologies of passenger airlines was made. Main components of transportation service quality provision were identified that allow defining opportunities for implementing competitive strategy for network carriers which perform cargo-passenger flights. Increase in volume of cargo transportation with respect to provision of high quality standards and on new routes was defined as optimal for airlines with insufficient volumes of cargo transportation.
