Being an Entrepreneur in Today’s Hungary

Abstract
Our paper deals with outlining what it is like to be an entrepreneur. First, the most decisive social and economic aspects of Hungarian entrepreneurship are overviewed in short. We also regarded it very important to deal with the key role and significance of entrepreneurial education to provide the research with a theoretical basis. The primary research partly includes interviews with active entrepreneurs of the present while the other part is directed at students of higher education as the entrepreneurs of the future. The results of the questionnaires and focus group examinations on the necessary knowledge, skills and willingness to set up an enterprise are also presented.
