A Study on Mathematical Statistics to Evaluate Relationship between Attributes
Journal Title: International Journal of Modern Engineering Research (IJMER) - Year 2014, Vol 4, Issue 11
Abstract
The goodness of fit of a statistical model describes how well it fits a set of observations. Measures of goodness of fit typically summarize the discrepancy between observed values and the values expected under themodel in question. Such measures can be used in statistical hypothesis testing, e.g. to test for normality of residuals, to test whether two samples are drawn from identical distributions (see Kolmogorov–Smirnov test), or whether outcome frequencies follow a specified distribution (see Pearson's chi-squared test).

A Review of Routing Protocols for Wireless Sensor Network
A wireless sensor network is a collection of nodes organized into a cooperative network. Each node consists of processing capability, may contain multiple types of memory, have a RF transceiver, have a power source, and...
Microgrid Control Strategy
The energy sector is moving into the era of distributed generation (DG) and microgrids (MGs). The stability and operation aspects of converter-dominated DG MGs, however, are faced by many challenges. To overcome th...
An Extensive Review of Momentous Researches on Acoustic Emission and Vibration
Nowadays, vibration is one of the major issues in the environment, which may cause some serious injuries to the human health. Vibration may occur due to mechanical oscillation from industrial machines, railway track near...
High Heat Flux Micro-Electronics Cooling
Abstract: The temperature of an electronics device rises fairly linearly with increasing device heat flux. This relationship is especially problematic for defense electronics, where heat dissipation is projected to...
