Bifurcation Analysis of Predator-prey Model

Journal Title: 河南科技大学学报(自然科学版) - Year 2017, Vol 38, Issue 2

Abstract

For the problem of predator-prey,a predator-prey model with generalized Holling IV functional response was studied. Under proper conditions, the model may have one degenerate equilibrium and one nondegenerate equilibrium. Taking two variables as bifurcation parameters which described the change of predator, the bifurcation of this model was analyzed. When the parameters were varied, the predator-prey system generated a Bogdanov-Takens bifurcation around the degenerate equilibrium. The approximate expressions of saddle-node bifurcation,Hopf bifurcation and the homoclinic bifurcation curves were obtained by norm form theory and implicit function theorem.
