Design of High Precision Conductivity Sensor in Water Quality Monitoring

Abstract

In order to solve the problem that the online detection results of the conductivity sensor in water quality monitoring were widely inaccurate, unstable and unsuitable integration, the high precision conductivity sensor based on ADuCM360 chips was designed.The sensor adopted the method of pulse excitation electrode, which effectively weakened the polarization phenomenon of the conductivity electrode by changing the pulse width and the duty ratio of pulse-width modulation (PWM) , the inconvenience of changing the PWM waveform by hardware was avoided, and the sensor debugging was more intelligent. The Pt1000 was used for temperature compensation to improve the detection accuracy of the sensor. The data transmission adopted the strong anti-interference ability ADM2587 as the RS-485 transceiver to realize communication with the host computer.The experiments show that the zero drift is 0.22%, the repeatability error is 0.50%, and the temperature compensation precision is 0.8%.All the parameters meet the requirements of the industry standard.
