Bio-chemical analysis of Cotugnia mohekarae n. sp. from Columba Livia intermedia
Journal Title: International Journal of Life Science - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 2
Abstract
Gastrointestinal cestode parasites are the most pathogenic parasites present in animal, birds and fishes. Parasitic biochemical studies has great importance in understanding the complex association in host parasite relationship. Whereas, the evidence in parasitic biochemical studies is patchy. Gastrointestinal cestodes are the most pathogenic parasites in Columba livia intermidia are tropics and subtropics areas. Present study deals with the biochemical studies of Cotugnia mohekarae n.sp. present in Columba livia intermidia in respect with the protein, glycogen and lipids metabolism.

Significance and Management of Chickpea Wilt/root rot and Future Prospects in Ethiopia. A Review
Chickpea production and productivity in Ethiopia has recently declined and high potential yield gaps because of several abiotic and biotic factors. The average chickpea yield in Ethiopia is usually below 2 t/ha although...
A study on mutagen induced development of antibiotic resistance in some pathogenic bacteria
The evolution of antibiotic resistance by pathogenic bacteria poses a major task for human health. Whereas it is unambiguous that natural selection promotes resistance-conferring mutations, our understanding of the respo...
Neo-simple methodology for the evaluation of potential botanical insect repellents and the rapid comparative study on specific chemical and photo sensitivity of selected insects
The study was to evaluate the insect repellent activity of certain plants and to compare the sensitivity of certain insects towards selected essential oils, composite light and a few colors. While on the experimental are...
Study of Antimicrobial activity of Ag and Se Nanoparticles against Clinically Isolated Biofilm forming Staphylococcus aureus
Introduction- Bacterial biofilm is a group of bacterial cells, covered by self-produced polymeric matrix film, which adheres very tightly to an inert or living surface constituting a protected mode of growth, allows surv...
