Biogas as an alternative to natural gas

Abstract
Necessity of replacing fossil fuels with renewable fuels causes that more and more frequently biogas is considered as a real alternative to natural gas. This article raises problems connected with replacing natural gas with biogas in the process of generation of electric and thermal energy as well as in transport and the chemical industry. Moreover, the article presents restrictions for development and use of biogas in many different sectors of the economy.
