Abstract
The article is dedicated to analysis of theoretical and legal basis of employment of biotechnologies in the process of agricultural production in terms of ensuring of sustainable development. Based on analysis identified problems in the legal regulation. Also it is dedicated to formulating issues and proposals directed on improvement of current agrarian legislation of Ukraine in specified sphere.
