Blame tactics in the political discourse of the UK parliamentary debates

Abstract
This article focuses on the peculiarities of the strategy of opponent’s discreditation in the UK parliamentary debates that is realized via the blame tactics. It analyses specific language and stylistic means used by the debates’ participants to discredit opponents during the meetings of the UK House of Commons in the post-Thatcher period.
