Blended Learning Technology Implementation in the Process of Foreign Language Competence Formation of Military Spec

Abstract
The article deals with the reasoning of methodological basis for blended learning technology usage during the military specialists training process. The author states that due to the modernization of the military education system, the concept of distance learning that includes the development and implementation of various technologies in studying process, including the technologies of blended learning, are being developed at the higher military educational institutions. According to the article, the main purpose of blended learning is to combine the advantages of traditional (face-to-face) studying and electronic studying. The author also differentiates the concepts meanings such as "distance learning" and "blended learning" and defines them as the key elements of the professional foreign language competence formation model of future military management masters. The article says that a face-to-face component of this model is aimed at the linguistics competence development such as speaking, listening, communicative and sociolinguistic competencies. And other competencies should be developed with the help of electronic studying (it is the second component of the model). The topical problems and ways of blended learning concept implementation during the process of professional foreign language training of the military students at the higher military educational institution are highlighted. The stages of foreign language training are defined.
