Boundary Conditions of Main Problem of Intermediate Ballistics
Journal Title: Problemy Mechatroniki. Uzbrojenie, lotnictwo, inżynieria bezpieczeństwa - Year 2011, Vol 2, Issue 1
Abstract
In the paper, experimental observations concerning phenomena of the intermediate ballistics are discussed. Basing on these observations, a physical model of the phenomena have been proposed and the main problem of the intermediate ballistics has been formulated. Some problems have been indicated, that are connected with the formulation of the problem. A method for determination of the boundary condition at the muzzle exit has been described. Some exemplary results of calculations of pressure and flow velocity at the muzzle exit have been presented.
