BRANCH STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN THE ECONOMY OF UKRAINE

Abstract
In the article features of structure of economy of Ukraine and tendencies of its structural transformations are considered. They are compared with similar structural features of developed countries. It was found out that the structural characteristics of the domestic economy in recent years do not correspond to global trends: the share of agriculture in GDP is growing, the share of the services sector is decreasing, the share of extractive industries is increasing, and the share of processing industry is decreasing. Commodity commodities prevail in the structure of exports. In the structure of the Ukrainian economy, the share of intermediate consumption of already sufficiently material-intensive industries such as construction, water supply, sewerage, and waste management is growing. During 2014–2016 years. The share of the gross added value of the least costly activities such as education, health care and social assistance, art, sports, entertainment and recreation has decreased.
