Brazilian foreign policy and the role of the Embrapa in case of Cotton -4

Abstract

The article examines the role of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (EMBRAPA) in the Brazilian Foreign Policy (BFP), from the Lula government, through the case study of the Cotton-4 Project. The first part describes the South-South Cooperation (SSC) in BFP; the second addresses the role of EMBRAPA in theCotton-4 Project and the relationship of the project with the World Trade Organization (WTO).
