BUILDING A PERGOLA IN CAD SYSTEMS
Journal Title: Journal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics - Year 2017, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper the authors present a study and the conclusions they reached, regarding the possibility to automatically representing a pergola, when a CAD system is used. Also, a computer program, made by the authors is presented. This software was named Pergola and it offer the opportunity to sketch a pergola which cover a rectangular or circular area, when using the AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD computer program.

PARAMETRIC DRAWINGS VS. AUTOLISP
In this paper the authors make a critical analysis of the advantages offered by the parametric drawing use by comparison with the AutoLISP computer programs used when it comes about the parametric design. Studying and an...
APPLYING THE THEORY OF THE PLANE IN THE CIVIL ENGINEERING FIELD
To avoid the routine of buildings composed of classical geometric bodies, some methods used in contemporary architecture consist in: the use of intersected solids, the cutting with planes in different positions, as well...
ABOUT CHANGING PARADIGMS IN TECHNICAL EDUCATION
The paper presents some principles on which the technical education in engineering is based in the first two years of study. More and more students understand education to be equal to learning, tasks equal to achievement...
THE USE OF NUMERICAL ANALYSIS IN ORDER TO HIGHLIGHT THE FLUID DYNAMICS INSIDE A HYDRAULIC GEAR PUMP MODEL
An experimental method for the investigation of hydraulic fluid flow inside a gear pump model was performed during this study. The external gear pump model was chosen because this volumetric unit is capable to take over...
MULTI-MATERIAL 3D PRINTER EXTRUDER CONCEPT
Since the RepRap (Replicating rapid prototyper) project, FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printing technology has come a long way. As the machine evolves so does the range of materials we can print with and the applica...
