CARGA MENTAL Y DESEMPEÑO LABORAL EN LOS TRABAJADORES DE UNA EMPRESA INDUSTRIAL

Abstract
At present, there is a significant increase in psychosomatic illnesses caused by the presence of work overload, due to production demands that go beyond the regular standards; process developed to survive in a globalized world, hence the field of study of Occupational Health and Safety, takes interest in analyzing different work situations, as is the case of this research that is oriented to establish whether there is a relationship between the Load Mental and Labor Performance, in the workers of an industrial company. The design of the research is quantitative relational, the sample was off 145 workers, the instruments used were: the NASA test (TLX) and the 180 ° Labor Performance Questionnaire, adapted for the company. To obtain the results the Chi2 statistic was used, the values obtained were Chi2 = 8,129 which is within the limits of (-13.9) and (+13.9), with a value p = .004, a value that allows accepting the alternative hypothesis, that expresses that the Mental Load if it is related to the Labor Performance of the workers of the Industrial Company.
