Carpooling Using Genetic Algorithm
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering and Techniques - Year 2015, Vol 1, Issue 3
Abstract
Now a day’s traffic congestion is a main issue all over the world so we are proposing a carpool system that will increase the no of occupation seats by decreasing the no of empty seats. In carpooling, drivers share their vehicles with one or more additional riders whose destinations are similar. it is good to traffic congestion, but also an environmentally sound transportation method. We are using Genetic Algorithm for matching of which seekers goes with which driver. Genetic algorithm is used for large no of users so it gives proper match. There are 2 models one is android mobile i.e. client and another is database.
Face Detection and Recognition in Video
The goal of this paper is to present a critical survey of existing literatures on human face detection and recognition over the last 4-5 years. An application for automatic face detection and tracking in video streams fr...

Receiver Initiated Asynchronous Duty-Cycle MAC protocol For Burst Traffic
Many energy-efficient Receiver Initiated Asynchronous Duty-Cycle MAC protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have been proposed. Most nodes suffer from significant performance Degradation for burst traffic, due to r...
Analysis of C-F Short Cylindrical Shells under Internal Hydrostatic Pressure using Polynomial Series Shape Function
The analysis of short cylindrical shells with one end clamped and the other end free (C-F) under internal hydrostatic pressure was presented. The study was carried out through a theoretical formulation based on polynomia...
A Review on Digital Video Broadcasting Terrestrial (DVB-T) Based OFDM System
Digital broadcast systems have increasingly been deployed for various services such as Digital Video Broadcasting (i.e. DVB-S, DVB-T, etc.) and Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). Classical digital broadcast systems were d...
