CASE-BASED REASONING IN KNOWLEDGE-BASED DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEMS

Abstract
The article explores the possibility of applying case-based reasoning in decision support systems, especially in intelligent decision support systems, expert systems and other knowledge-based decision support systems. The study implements methods of description, analysis, synthesis and comparison. Its aim is to draw attention to the possibility of applying casebased reasoning in the field of decision support. The research showed that the methods and techniques of the case-based reasoning could be used to automate the collection and storage of knowledge in the knowledge bases, as well as for acquiring knowledge by learning based on cases from the past that can be used to make better decisions in the future.
