Abstract
Dry cough is one of the first symptoms of many respiratory diseases in children. Determination of the causes of dry cough allows you to establish the correct diagnosis and to prescribe adequate treatment. The choice of expectorants or antitussive drugs, depending on the nature of the cough and the reasons for its occurrence, determines the success of treatment.
