Cechy arytmii nadkomorowych w badaniu fizykalnym i EKG

Journal Title: Na Ratunek - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 5

Abstract

SupraVentricular Tachycardias (SVT) are one of the most common arrhythmias. The ability to diagnose and manage SVT in a prehospital setting is a crucial skill of emergency medical professionals. In order to properly assess a patient suspected of arrhythmia, the ABCDE protocol should be implemented, assessing subsequently: A – airway, B – breathing, C – circulation, D – disability, E – exposure. The assessment should particularly take into account ECG and circulation parameters. In the case of SVT and other alarming signs such as: cardiac incompetence, ischaemic heart disease, shock and disorders of consciousness, cardioversion should be implemented immediately. Patient with SVT with no alarming signs requires further diagnostic procedure differentiating the type of arrhythmia and the implementation of targeted therapy.
