Stany nagłe w ginekologii i położnictwie w praktyce ZRM. Część I: Krwawienie z dróg rodnych

Abstract
One of the reasons for the intervention of the Emergency Medical Teams (Polish: ZRM) is vaginal bleeding. It can be caused by bleeding after gynaecological surgery from inoperable cancerous lesions, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, trauma or conditions that result in obstetric haemorrhage. Obstetric haemorrhage is the leading cause of death in pregnant women in the world. In emergency procedures, proper diagnosis and initial treatment, focused on proper management in the case of shock, are crucial. In order to treat shock due to obstetric heamorrhage we apply the principles of permissive hypotension and appropriate medical procedures in relation to the current obstetric situation.
