Journal Title: IOSR Journal of Dental and Medical Sciences (IOSR-JDMS) - Year 2018, Vol 17, Issue 3
Abstract
Central Diabetes Insipidus (CDI) following intraparenchymal hemorrhage of the brain has been described as a rare presentation. Posterior pituitary ischemia has also been postulated as a possible cause of idiopathic CDI. We encountered a young male with right sided capsuloganglionic bleed who had polyuria due to central Diabetes Insipidus, requiring Desmopressin therapy.
