Abstract
This paper aims to study both theoretical and practical features of the public debt and its impact on the economy while investigating public and publicly guaranteed debt performance in Ukraine. The paper explores the risks of public debt and suggests a number of state regulatory practices that may affect the effectiveness of public debt management.
