Charakterystyka dokumentacji władz centralnych i jej komparatystyka w okresie zmian form sprawowania rządów w czasach Księstwa Warszawskiego

Abstract
In this work the author discusses the issue of document development that took place in the times of the Duchy of Warsaw. As part of its operation three forms of government were created, which developed three different chanceries and methods of writings producing based on similar principles. The Ruling Commission organized the document system according to the French model, which was introduced first within the ministries and then in the cases. The period of constitutional governance was the most effective among the discussed forms of the chanceries. During the constitutional period the documentation was divided into two series of office books and case files, which were organized in terms of content. The last filing system was created as a result of the operation of the Provisional Highest Council. The system was relatively similarly organized to the previous period, but as a result of functioning there were significant differences in the preparation and management of writings. The author deeply analyzes the arrangement of files, the form of letters and their content. The result of the work is to specify the subject matter related to the production of documentation during the period of the Duchy of Warsaw.
