CHEATING IN B.PHARMACY EXAMINATIONS – RATIONALE, CONSEQUENCES AND MEASURES TO CURB THIS MENACE

Abstract

Context: Cheating in examination is now-a-days, become a common phenomenon, all over the world. So, B.Pharmacy is not a different case. This is also a problem or rather menace in B.Pharmacy course also. Objectives: Cheating in examination is also known as unfair means of copying in examination. In this article, various actions or acts of student, which comes under unfair means of copying or cheating in examination, is discussed. Methods: The student cheats or adopts various unfair means of copying. Various factors lead to or rather compel the student for cheating. New modern age technology like smart phone/ internet/ bluetooth etc. complicates this problem further. Conclusion: The examining bodies or universities take stringent measures to curb this menace of cheating in examination or use of unfair means of copying in examination. But still, a number of such cases occur.
