Journal Title: Medzinárodné vzťahy - Year 2018, Vol 16, Issue 2
Abstract
The aim of the article is to decide, if there has been positive shift during the recent period (last 3-4 years) in the cooperation of China and Russia on the development of transport infrastructure in the Russian Far East. The article is based on the assumption, that the improvement of diplomatic relations between China and Russia has allowed the cooperation of both countries in this sphere, especially in the case of trans-border infrastructure. The author presents three case studies of high priority transport projects and concludes that there has been a positive shift in the realization of the projects. However, the cooperation of both countries in this sphere still can’t be considered as successful.
