CHRONIC PERIODONTITIS MEDIUM FORM. PMC PREVALENCE AND METHODS OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the prevalence of chronic marginal periodontitis average form (PMCFM) relying on the patient's age, sex, diagnosis and treatment methods applied. According to data from the report of the WHO Scientific Group (1990), where the findings were summarized population of 53 countries, there is a high level of periodontal disease, both in the age groups 15-19 (55-99%), and at groups that include age of 35-44 years (65-98%). [6] Based on this study we found the prevalence of chronic marginal periodontitis is average form based on a group of 33 pacients.
