CIVIL LIABILITY FOR HARM DONE BY ANIMALS ACCORDING TO THE (UNDER) ART. 431 CIVIL CODE

Abstract
This study treats about the issue of the civil liability for harm done by animals. The text includes the tort liability issues based on general principles and liability resulting from Art. 431 of the Civil Code. It also explains the “animal carer” and the “animal wielder” notions, as well as the controversial possibility of recognizing the wielder (as a person subject to liability/ as a responsible) for harm done by animals pursuant to Art. 431 of the Civil Code.<br/><br/>
