Civil society evolution through the historical development of definition and theory of democracy.

Abstract
There is a historical analysis stages evolution of the definition «civil society» from the era of Plato and Aristotle to modern approaches to the formation and development of civil society on the democratic principles in this article. The civil society building signs in Ukraine aimed at: overcoming the individual alienation from power; the state transformation into a socially responsible civil society tool that implements an active social policy in the all categories interests and the population strata based on the principles of openness, transparency, democratic power, social justice, harmony, mutually beneficial cooperation and social partnership, and the public control possibility.
