CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATION: THEORETICAL BASIS OF DEFINITION

Abstract
The article systematizes existing approaches to the definition of the concept of "public organization" and proposes its own definition. The key features of public organizations are generalized: non-government, voluntary association of its members, non-profitability, independence, organizational unity, self-government, public benefit, common interests of members of the organization, etc.
