GLOBAL TRENDS AND UKRAINIAN CULTURAL TRADITION: HYBRIDISATION OR DIALOGUE?

Abstract
Globalisation trends in the form of individualisation, virtualisation, increasing mobility and unification of culture are irreversible and will unambiguously influence and transform national cultural traditions. However, if even about twenty years ago it seemed that globalisation and its trends (in particular, post-materialisation) unceasingly totally change the world and all are subject to these changes, it is now obvious that although these changes occur, they are quite different and create their unique tendencies in different countries. The article analyses the issue of the influence of global trends on Ukrainian cultural tradition. In particular, in the latter, the author distinguishes four separate cultural layers, which are in dynamic disposition, and analyses loci – filters that create obstacles to global and especially European integration impacts.
