Classification of vandalism: traditional approaches and modern understanding.

Abstract
Analyzed popular approaches to the understanding of vandalism in the scientific literature, their weaknesses and advantages are determined. The specific characteristics of acts of vanadal behavior, which have recently attracted wide public attention, focus on the motivational sphere of their implementation. The most typical cases of vandalism are summarized, which were recorded by the units of the National Police. On the basis of the research, the classification of vandalism is grounded, which is based on the leading motives of its commission.
