CLINICAL FEATURES OF HCV-ASSOCIATED RENAL DAMAGE

Abstract
Th e analysis of the clinical features of renal damage in patients with chronic hepatitis C has been conducted. It has been shown that HCV-associated glomerulonephritis is diagnosed only in the presence of clinical and biochemical features of mixed cryoglobulinemia. HCV-associated glomerulonephritis was detected simultaneously with chronic hepatitis C with the prevalence of renal symptoms over hepatic ones or appeared simultaneously with a persistent course of chronic hepatitis C aft er manifestation of Meltzer’s triad and combined with a wide spectrum of other extracellular manifestations, associated with mixed cryoglobulinemia.
