Clinical value of comprehensive intervention based on VTE risk score for venous thrombosis in elderly type 2 diabetes inpatients

Abstract
ObjectiveTo explore the effect of targeted intervention measures based on risk score of venous thromboembolism ï¼VTEï¼ï¼ on the prevention of senile type 2 diabetes inpatientsï¼ as well as their influence on the occurrence of venous thromboembolism.MethodsA total of 134 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus who were hospitalized in geriatrics department of Peking university third hospital during June 1ï¼ 2018 to September 30ï¼ 2018 were selected as the research subjects. All the patients were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table methodï¼ with 67 patients in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional intervention methodsï¼ and patients in the observation group were treated with targeted intervention measures based on VTE risk score. After one month of interventionï¼ the Padua scoreï¼ blood glucose level and coagulation indexes of the two groups were compared. The incidence of thrombosis during the intervention period was also recorded.ResultsThe Padua score in observation group ï¼2.09±2.17ï¼ points was significantly lower than that ï¼3.19±2.37ï¼ points in control group ï¼P<0.05ï¼. The indexes of fasting blood glucoseï¼ 2h postprandial blood glucose and HbA1c in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group ï¼P<0.05ï¼. The fibrinogenï¼ D-dimerï¼ activated partial thromboplastin time and prothrombin time in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group ï¼P<0.05ï¼. The incidence of DVTï¼ PVTï¼ lower limb swellingï¼ pain and abnormal skin color in the observation group were 4.00%ï¼ 2.00%ï¼ 2.00%ï¼ 2.00%ï¼ and 0ï¼ respectivelyï¼ and in the control group were 12.00%ï¼ 10.00%ï¼ 10.00%ï¼ 12.00%ï¼ and 8.00%ï¼ respectively. The incidence of adverse events in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group ï¼P<0.05ï¼.ConclusionTargeted intervention based on VTE risk score can significantly reduce the risk of VTE occurrenceï¼ improve blood clotting function and blood glucose level in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This nursing measure has important clinical application value.
