CLOUD CHEMICALLY INERT MICROPARTICLES ATTENUATION AND SUPPRESSION OF GAS DETONATION WAVE
Journal Title: Вестник научного центра по безопасности работ в угольной промышленности - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue
Abstract
Analyzed way to attenuation and extinction of gas detonation wave by a cloud of chemically inert solid particles. The parameters of the Chapman - Jouget detonation wave in heterogeneous mixtures of methane - air - microparticles with various mass fractions of the condensed phase and the ratio between fuel and oxidizer. Quanti ed the impact of physical and chemical properties of the particles on the weakening of the detonation wave. Found a minimum concentration of particles, at which the wave extinction occurs.
