CLUSTER ANALYSIS OF RETAIL TRADE ENTERPRISES

Abstract
The article deals with the cluster analysis of retail trade enterprises, as well as the main theoretical and methodological approaches to the implementation of cluster analysis and the methods that are most effective for the study of business entities in the retail market. Having conducted clusterization of the retail trade enterprises, we can conclude that the best parameters for the assessment and distribution of enterprises to clusters are the geographical location; level of turnover at the enterprise; trading area; specialization and quantity of commodity items. Using data for each of these categories, fifteen retailers were evaluated and divided into three relatively homogeneous groups. Based on the average values in each cluster with the key parameters mentioned above, we can make a general description and develop specific recommendations for each cluster.
