CO-MODALITY OF POLISH REGIONAL AIRPORT IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT ASPECT

Abstract
The article presents the problem of co-modality analysis of urban transport (public transport links with the centers of metropolitan airports) for areas of regional impact of airports in central and southern Poland. First of all, in a concise form described Muchowiec airport in Katowice. The article pointed out the concept of co-modality modes. The next section describes the regional airports in the south-central Poland, along with airports, sports that can get this type of functionality. In further narrowed the selection of regional airports in the Polish region in terms of the problem is driven in the article – the immediate vicinity of Katowice airport. In conclusion, reference was made to the possibility of development of the airport in Katowice Muchowiec.
