Cognitive and practical side political competence
Journal Title: Politicus - Year 2017, Vol 4, Issue
Abstract
Political competence has two sides – cognitive and practical. The cognitive side acts as knowledge that a leader or members of a leading political body must possess in order to successfully manage and rule. The practical side is expressed in the determination to implement the chosen course and the responsibility of politicians for what happens under their leadership. Therefore, it is advisable to consider the limited political competence in the management system first in the epistemological and then in the praxeological aspects.
