COLORISTIC FEATURES OF TRADITIONAL SHIRTS OF THE CARPATHIAN REGION

Abstract
The article analyzes the colorful specificity of the Carpathian shirt as an element of the traditional costume. In this case, attention is paid to both the general characteristics of the issue being studied and the demonstration of diffuse cultural influences and differences in the coloring of shirts of the different ethnic country of one region. The constructive element of folk clothing and its embroidery and ornamentation – the material medium of color and image – express not only the stability of this form of ethnic identity, which is rooted in folklore, but also represents a world view of the ethnos, marked with certain symbols, patterns, and, accordingly, the color, essence which remains unchanged, even in the context of rapid globalization processes.
