COMMON FIXED POINT THEOREMS USING PROP. (E.A) IN COMPLEX VALUED b Metric SPACES

Abstract
Azam et al. [3] introduced the notion of complex valued metric space and obtained a common fixed point result for mappings satisfying rational inequality in this space. Czerwik [9] proved a contraction theorem in b-metric space which generalized the Banach contraction principal. In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for two pairs of weakly compatible mappings satisfying property (E.A) for a set of rational inequalities in complex valued b-metric space. Further, we discuss about the common fixed point theorem applying entirely within the closed ball instead of whole space (e.g., [2]). Our result thus generalizes many results existing in the literature, e.g. [2]-[5], [15] etc.
