Communication from otherness
Journal Title: RHS-Revista Humanismo y Sociedad - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 2
Abstract
The text starts with a reflection on how a modern society governed by functional rationality, the neoliberal model, capitalism and globalization leads to instrumentalization of communication, which, in turn, results in alienation of the other in the communicative process. Finally, the paper proposes a way to recover and develop otherness through emancipatory communicative processes.
